BAROCK VOKAL is an artistic excellence program for opera and concert singers as well as advanced singing students.

Vocal music of the 17th and 18th centuries has gained great importance in the international concert and opera repertoire in recent years. With the baroque vocal excellence program, the Mainz University of Music offers a range of advanced training courses that familiarize young professionals with the work and interpretation of baroque music. Internationally recognized baroque specialists, as artists in residence, lead the young singers' examination of "historically informed performance practice".
