What Makes You Unique
The Stetson University School of Music is a vibrant community of just over 220 majors and minors and 52 artist-scholar faculty. Stetson University is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM). Established in 1936, the School of Music was Florida’s first collegiate music school. Today, it offers professional training in the form of 12 individual majors across three-degree options in four areas: music education, music performance, music academics, and composition.
Scholarships & Financial Aid
Thanks to the generous support of alumni and friends, the School of Music maintains an endowment fund that supports a competitive Talent Scholarship Program. This fund makes it possible to award scholarships each year to qualified students who demonstrate exceptional musical ability, including both music majors and non-music majors.
All degree-seeking music students are automatically considered for a talent scholarship upon completion of their audition. No separate application is required. Scholarships are renewable annually, provided the student maintains satisfactory academic standing and continued musical progress.
For more information on other tuition assistance options, please visit the scholarships section on Stetson’s Student Financial Aid webpage.
