Masterclasses

Over 115 masterclasses and workshops were offered throughout the four days. Masterclasses were held by professional singers and university professors. Opera legends Denyce Graves and Carol Vaness, Broadway singers Meghan Picerno and Martin Fisher, Met singers Helena Brown and Kirsten Arnold, Talent Casting Agents, and WNO’s Chris Cano were among them. There were many great topics to choose from! Singers were also able to sing for masterclasses and receive direct feedback and guidance.

A few other highlights include the Teacher Reception hosted by Appcompanist, a High School Dessert Night, and live announcement of the semifinal winners.

Overall, the weekend was one to remember! There is something special about gathering with a group of people who are passionate about singing. Magical, you might say! A big thank you to everyone who participated this year! Thank you to all of the incredible singers, pianists, teachers, presenters, parents, exhibitors, and sponsors for being a part of and adding to the CS Music Community.

If you weren’t able to make it this year, that’s okay! You can join next year in Chicago from May 23-26! More information and details to come. For now, as you move onto your next singing opportunities and endeavors, we wish you all the best! Break a leg, toi toi toi, and good luck!

Love, CS Music
