Description

Manhattan School of Music (MSM) is one of the world's premier music conservatories for musical theatre, classical music, and jazz. The MSM musical community is recognized for its more than 1,000 superbly talented undergraduate and graduate students who come from more than 50 countries and nearly all 50 states; its innovative curricula and world-renowned artist-teacher faculty drawn from the city’s great classical music organizations, including Broadway and the Metropolitan Opera; and a distinguished community of accomplished, award-winning alumni working at the highest levels of the musical, educational, cultural, and professional worlds.

Manhattan School of Music’s prestigious Musical Theatre Program is the only stand-alone conservatory program in New York City. Our program attracts professional artist-teacher faculty and guest artists, many of whom have created and performed in some of Broadway’s greatest shows, such as Les Miserables, The Phantom of the Opera, Ragtime, Chicago, and countless others. Students receive comprehensive training in musical theatre, culminating in a fully accredited Bachelor’s degree.
