Idyllwild Arts Academy and Summer program

Designed for emerging vocalists who want to develop their unique voice in contemporary music, we’ll explore the artistry of singing through the lens of emotional connection, vocal expression, performance mindset, and vocal care. Students will study modern vocalists, experiment with technique in both live and studio settings.

Rather than focusing only on traditional or classical vocal training, this intensive centers on creative exploration, self-awareness, and personal style. We will incorporate basic vocal warmups, breathwork, performance exercises, artist analysis, and studio performance tools.

Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your vocal expression, this course encourages vocal growth in a fun, supportive, and low-pressure environment.

*The final showcase is Friday evening, with Saturday being a move-out day
