Statement of Purpose

The purpose of MAME is: to promote high teaching standards through self-evaluation, discussion and action; to improve and expand the opportunities for all music students in the Madison area through participation in numerous MAME, WMTA, and MTNA events; to increase public awareness of quality professional music education; and to foster growth and enrichment in the cultural and artistic life of the entire community.
