Description
Vocalists sing two selections of contrasting styles. At least one selection should be in a foreign language. Selections should demonstrate technique and musicality. The level should be suitable for solo/ensemble contests. The time should be 3-6 minutes approximately. The College will provide an accompanist for vocal auditions only.
Choir Auditions- The audition process for the Augustana Band, Brass Choir, and Jazz Band will take place September 4 through September 7, 2013
Your audition will last approximately nine minutes and include: a solo or etude of your choice, scales thru 5 #'s and 5 b's (need not be memorized), the chromatic scale, and sight reading
