Nazareth University of Rochester NY:

The Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance provides professional level performance training for students who intend to pursue careers as performing musicians. The curriculum includes pedagogical coursework, performance techniques, a comprehensive study of vocal repertoire, lyric diction, studio teaching, lyric theater, and opera. With an emphasis on applied music study, the program includes courses in the disciplines of music that inform and enrich the performance experience, including music theory and history, analysis, and conducting. The degree prepares students to assume leadership roles as performing artists and independent professional musicians as well as for entrance into graduate degree programs.

The BFA in musical theatre is a pre-professional degree that integrates music, theatre, and dance to prepare you for a life in the arts. Classes are taught by industry professionals, Nazareth faculty, and visiting guest artists in a rigorous and supportive environment. Students can take advantage of a London semester or a Tepper semester in NYC. Students benefit from Nazareth’s strategic regional partnerships with professional theatres, agents, and producers as well as a Senior Showcase in NYC.

New York and tour credits include Broadway pit of The Boys from Oz, Annie, Five Guys Named Moe, and The Great American Trailer Park Musical. Arranger/Orchestrator: Menopause, The Musical. Corinne was Musical Director for the North American Premiere of From Here to Eternity and Theatrical Rights Worldwide’s Saturday Night Fever. Original works include music/lyrics: Treasure Island, A New Musical; Pump N Go; The Littlest Witch. Regional credits include: Hairspray, The Drowsy Chaperone, Full Monty, Forty Second Street, Five Guys Named Moe, Smokey Joe’s Cafe, Spelling Bee, Cabaret, Chicago, Miss Saigon, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Evita, La Cage, My Fair Lady, The King & I, The Sound of Music, Nunsense, Brigadoon, Kiss Me Kate, Anything Goes, South Pacific,Grease, Singin’ in the Rain, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Damn Yankees, and Daddy Long Legs. Corinne is a resident Musical Director at The REV (formerly Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival. and is a member of: Dramatists Guild, ASCAP, and AFM Local 802.
