For BMus/Voice: auditions on campus in February and March. Contact Prof. Mary Burgess, Coordinator of Vocal Programs (burgess@binghamton.edu) for current information and audition dates.

For B. A. voice majors and non-majors: Undergraduate Auditions and Placement Auditions are open to all students regardless of major and year of study, and are required for admittance to any of the performance activities listed below (with the exception of Beginning Piano.) Auditions take place during the first week of each term; they are informal and (while competitive in some cases) are meant to include as many students as possible.

The Binghamton University Music Department is proud to offer nationally accredited degrees in Music including the BA and Bachelor of Music degrees and the graduate degrees; Masters of Music and Master's of Music in Opera. The Music Department is comprised of a diverse group of faculty members that offer courses in performance, theory, composition, ethnomusicology, and music history.
