Univ of Tennessee Knoxville is accepting applications for a Lecturer of Voice (Bass or Baritone preferred).

Nine-month, non-tenure-track, one year appointment beginning August 1, 2022. Salary and fringe benefits are competitive and commensurate with rank and experience. The Knoxville campus of the University of Tennessee is seeking candidates who have the ability to contribute in meaningful ways to the diversity and intercultural goals of the University. The primary responsibilities of this faculty member is to teach applied voice at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Maintain a strong voice studio. Teach a graduate level vocal literature seminar course. Additional responsibilities could include assisting in the administration of the Knoxville Opera Studio and teaching voice-related classes as determined by the needs of the program and the qualifications and interests of the successful candidate.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: 1) Master’s minimum, doctorate (including ABD) or equivalent professional profile preferred; 2) A consistent record of professional experience and visibility as a performer; 3) Demonstrated success in college-level voice teaching and/or master class setting required.
