Michigan State Univ. seeking Assistant Professor for Assistant Professor-Fixed Term - Musical Theatre Voice and Acting.

Principal duties and responsibilities include instruction of individual vocal lessons for musical theatre performance and musical theatre acting and co-coordination of ?máGen, a new musical development program in collaboration with the Wharton Center for the Performing Arts. The position also entails artistic duties in the Department of Theatre’s production season and Summer Circle Theatre program (responsibilities vary based upon candidate’s expertise).

Required Degree

Doctorate -Musical Theatre Voice and Acting

Minimum Requirements

MFA in Theatre or related field by appointment start date, or the equivalent professional experience;

At least 5 years of professional experience in acting, musical theatre, vocal performance, musical direction, direction, or closely related field; recent experience preferred
