Schenectady Light Opera Company will be holding auditions for Dreamgirls, May 23, 2025; sign in begins at 6:30 pm with auditions starting at 7 pm. and May 24, 2025; sign in begins at 12 pm with auditions starting at 12:30 pm.

What to Expect at Auditions

* Please prepare 16 to 32 bars of music from a Broadway show – ideally in a style similar to the show. Singing from the show is welcome, but not required.

* An accompanist will be provided. Please have sheet music in the correct key.

* Dance call. Bring or wear clothes and shoes you can move in.

* You may complete the Audition Form OR complete the form when you arrive at auditions.
