The Music Department at Valley City State University is seeking a Full- Time, non-tenure track professor of voice to join a growth-oriented team committed to implementing a 21st-century music experience across the curriculum for Fall Semester 2022.

The primary responsibilities of this position include teaching applied voice, vocal diction and methods, and aural skills courses in an innovative music program. Other teaching areas may be assigned according to candidate strengths and departmental need. All members of the department participate in academic advising and recruitment activities. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain/update course and program curricular content, participate in department assessment, contribute to campus committees, and perform other duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Earned Master's degree in Music (voice primary)

Ability to teach as a vocal specialist
