Southeastern Oklahoma State University invites applications for a non-tenure track Assistant Professor position for Applied Voice instruction.
Serve as Assistant Professor (non-tenure track) of Applied Voice and Music History. Any voice type will be considered. Teach applied voice lessons to music majors and non-music majors, teach voice related studies (which may include diction, vocal literature, vocal pedagogy, or vocal technique courses for instrumental majors), music history for undergraduates, an online section of music history for graduate students, and other classes/duties as assigned by the Chair of the Department of Music. Collaborate with colleagues on choral recruitment, outreach, and assist within the department as needed. This position also requires service on departmental and university committees, attendance at faculty meetings, and occasional night and weekend obligations.
REQUIRED: ABD with completion before the start of appointment (must provide date in application materials). A minimum 2 years of college teaching experience (graduate teaching assistant experience may count toward this requirement).
