Performance Masterclass led by Dr. Ingrid Kammin (Head of Voice Area at Illinois Wesleyan University) and Dr. Cody S. Parrot (Chair of Choral Activities and Instructor of Voice). Students will receive individualized feedback in a supportive environment designed specifically for talented high school vocalists. High School participants will have the exclusive opportunity to audition for a prestigious $25,000 talent-based scholarship to Illinois Wesleyan University's acclaimed vocal program. ALL high school singers are welcome but rising Seniors are especially encouraged to sign up!

Dr. Ingrid Kammin is a versatile soprano performing across classical opera, musical theater, and contemporary works. As an educator, Dr. Kammin serves as Visiting Assistant Professor of Voice and Head of the Voice and Choral area at Illinois Wesleyan University. Her innovative teaching approach emphasizes versatility and cross-training of voices, earning her the 2020 NATS Emerging Leaders Award. She has completed advanced studies in vocal pedagogy at Shenandoah University's CCM Institute and the Acoustic Vocal Pedagogy Workshop, bringing this expertise to both her university teaching and her private studio in Champaign-Urbana. She earned her Doctorate of Musical Arts from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with additional studies in Italy and France.
Dr. Cody S. Parrott is Director of Choral Activities at Illinois Wesleyan University's School of Music. Previously Associate Director of Choral Activities at Mississippi State University, he earned his DMA in choral conducting from the University of Texas, where his University Treble Chorus won third place in the 2023 American Prize in Choral Performance. His research focuses on modern voice science in choral education. As a "sweet-toned lyric tenor," Dr. Parrott has performed numerous operatic roles to critical acclaim. He holds additional degrees from the University of Miami's Frost School of Music and the University of St. Thomas.
