Lawrence P. Vincent

Lawrence Vincent began his opera career in New York City with the Boris Goldovsky Opera Company. In 1982, he was engaged as lyric tenor in Trier, Germany and in 1987, was offered a solo opera and operetta contract with the Vienna Volksoper. From 1991 until 1996, he was a member of the prestigious Vienna State Opera solo ensemble. As a result of his “extraordinary contribution to the arts,” Dr. Vincent was awarded Austrian citizenship in 1994. He is presently a professor of music and director of opera at Brigham Young University.
