Charleston, SC

WHAT MAKES YOU UNIQUE

A major emphasis in the music program at the College of Charleston is that performance is at the heart of the curriculum. Performance provides you with opportunities to showcase your talents and refine your stage presence. Guided by our dedicated faculty of active performing artists, you will have the opportunity to perform leading roles in our operas since we do not have a graduate program, perform solo recitals, perform with the Charleston Symphony and Charleston Opera Theater, and take the stage for event opportunities, including community concerts, touring programs, and the Piccolo Spoleto Festival.

Our Bachelor of Arts Degree allows the student with various interests to explore in several areas. It is possible to accomplish two majors in four years which is atypical in other universities.

Notable Alumni: Ashley Fabian, Nathan Matticks, Kori Miller
