Bio

Gina Beck is a full-time member of the Voice Faculty at the Boston Conservatory since 2013, adjunct voice teacher at the Walnut Hill School for the Arts, and Senior Lecturer of “Finding Your Creative Voice” at Suffolk University in Boston, MA. She is known as a vocal technician as she brings a deep understanding of physiology to her teaching of both classical and CCM (Contemporary Commercial Music). She has also been known to inject an infectious dose of humor into her teaching, masterclasses, and vocal performances. Her current and former students have graced stages on Broadway, national tours, and regional theaters across the country.

Ms. Beck's performances have delighted audiences across her native Canada, United States, and Europe. She has been described as a masterful technician, able to add subtle nuance and stunning color to seemingly endless line. She holds a Master of Music in Opera Performance degree from the Boston Conservatory, and has performed in the Phyllis Curtin Vocal Seminar at the Tanglewood Music Center in Lenox, MA, the Spoleto Vocal Arts Symposium in Spoleto, Italy, and the Aspen Summer Music Festival in Colorado. Ms. Beck is currently a freelance soloist in New England, and has performed with the Cape Ann Symphony, the Santa Fe Desert Chorale, Newton Symphony, Melrose Symphony, Worcester Chorus, The Mastersingers of Worcester, Cambridge Lieder and Opera Society, Consortium of Worcester Colleges, Operafest New Hampshire, The Greater Pittsfield Orchestra and Chorus, Wellesley Community Orchestra, and The Fine Arts Chorale.

Ms. Beck is currently teaching exclusively online. She also offers vocal and audition technique masterclasses for theater programs worldwide. Ms. Beck lives in Natick, MA, USA with her family.
