Mary Jane Knight teaches voice at Kirkwood College and runs a premier private studio Knightingale Voice in the historic Harvat house just north of downtown Iowa City. Mary Jane has appeared with Riverside Theatre, Theatre Memphis, Opera Memphis, Opera Omaha, Des Moines Metro Opera, Opera Quad Cities, City Circle Theatre, and Revival Theatre Company, among others. As a concert soloist, she has appeared throughout the Midwest and is a Bach Vocal Artist for the Bach Festival Society of Winter Park, Florida. She received her bachelors of music at Simpson College and a masters degree in vocal performance at the University of Nebraska.
