Helen Fanelli Mezzo Soprano & Voice Teacher - Over 30 years of professional teaching and classical vocal performing experience with companies including Austin Lyric & Dallas Lyric Opera in Texas, Austin Symphony, New Rochelle Opera, Chelsea Opera, Regina Opera, Taconic Opera, Liederkranz Society, Brooklyn Lyric Opera and the Metropolitan Opera Chorus (from 2002-2007 under Maestro Raymond Hughes) as well as KJK Productions with Kevin J Kearns (Broadway Musicals). I was Professor of Voice at the Mozartina Musical Arts Conservatory from 2001-2012 in Tarrytown, NY. Currently, I am a member of the Putnam Chorale under Director Jason Tramm, where I have been a chorister and professional soloist since 2017 and am a retired Substitute Teacher in the Public Schools in Westchester County, NY. I am also a Cantor at St. Paul II-Immaculate Conception Church in Sleepy Hollow NY. I love working with young upcoming singers as well as those who just want to learn to sing better and teach voice in the Bel Canto (Beautiful Singing on the breath) tradition.
