Bio

Ms. Streja has years of professional conducting, concert and stage performing, teaching, and administrative experience ranging from soprano solo concert engagements, guest conductor and festival adjudicator appearances, to planning and implementing educational programming and writing curriculum. Ms. Streja has taught general and choral music at the elementary through high school levels as well as college students in her capacity as Chamber Singers Director and Vocal Department Head for Sun Valley Music Festival's Music Institute Summer Programs. She has co-authored music research studies with university colleagues and published several articles in professional journals. She is in constant demand to provide music direction to both religious and educational arts organizations and is actively sought out as a worship leader and private officiant for Jewish life cycle events. She also serves as Director of the Adat Elohim Chorale in Thousand Oaks, California and is often engaged as a soloist or music director/consultant in addition to her active private teaching and tutoring schedule.
