Description
Anderson University offers two innovative summer programs for high school students who want to learn more about the music industry – Orangehaus Guitar Camp and Orangehaus Music Business Camp. Developed by Anderson University music business faculty and award-winning industry professionals, both camps aim to equip students for a successful career in the music business.
Orangehaus Guitar Camp (June 16-21) is for high school students of all skill levels to learn or master acoustic, electric, or bass guitar. Students choose from classes in Beginning to Advanced Guitar Techniques, Music Theory for Guitarists, Guitar Maintenance and Care, Exploring Guitar Genres, Pedal Power, and more!
Orangehaus Music Business Camp (June 22-28) is for high school students to explore hands-on classes in
DIY Recording, Songwriting, The Fan Magnet, Concert Booking, and more! Students who are singers or musicians on any instrument are assigned to a band to compete in Orangefest, a “battle of the bands” showcase at the end of the week.
