Trondheim Vocal Ensemble

Trondheim Vocal Ensemble (TVE) is a professional choir funded from the Norwegian Arts Council. TVE is organized in a cooperation between Trondheim Symphony Orchestra (TSO) and Nidaros Cathedral (NDVF). Head of Artistic Development is Frank Havrøy. Trondheim Symphony Orchestra is one of the country's largest cultural institutions with responsibility for symphonic music and musical theatre. TSO annually gives up to 100 concerts. The Chief Conductor and Artistic Director is Han-Na Chang. Nidaros Cathedral is a local parish church, the diocese’s principal church and Norway's national shrine. The Cathedral has a rich and varied musical life, in which the musical content of the church services is the cornerstone. NDVF is one of the leading institutions in norwegian church music.
