Accessibility to culture, environmental issues, gender equality, solidarity and inclusive actions, beyond its artistic creation and dissemination project, the Opéra de Lyon, aware of its social responsibility, has for a long time multiplied its commitments in line with her values. The issue of audiences and new access to art and culture for all has thus been addressed, since 2008, by paying particular attention to the environmental impact of its activities. From the summer of 2022, the artistic and societal approach of the Opéra de Lyon is thus associated with a major plan to reduce its carbon footprint over 8 years. To do more and do it better.
