No rap or rhythmic speaking style pieces, and no karaoke or a capella auditions, please. All auditioners will audition with piano accompaniment. An accompanist is provided; please bring sheet music with all edits and key changes clearly marked for accompanist. Auditioners may be asked to learn a short dance combination in small groups, so please come dressed to move. Female-identifying auditioners should wear heeled character shoes for the dance portion of the audition if they have them. Auditioners will also be asked to read from the script. All auditioners will be in the same room together for the duration of the audition.
Callback attendees will be assigned music from the show to perform. Some callback attendees may be asked to read from the script. No dancing is anticipated at callbacks, but final decisions will be at the discretion of the creative team.
