Whidbey Playhouse

Whidbey Playhouse will be holding auditions for The Sound of Music, March 1st and 2nd, by appointment. Call backs March 4th.

Be prepared to sing (up to 32 measures, ie. a verse and chorus) a song that shows off your best vocal ability. Bring a copy of the sheet music you have prepared for the audition. Make sure the sheet music is written in the key you want our accompanist to play. Before you sing your prepared selection, the accompanist will have you sing through a few vocal exercises to test your vocal range.

Read a 1 to 2 minute monologue or poem of your choice that will allow you to demonstrate your acting ability. This does not need to be memorized, rather it should showcase your capability as a storyteller, as an actor.
