Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center announces auditions for Hairspray!

Auditions will take place on January 7-9, 2026, and are open to all actors of all ages.

Please arrive a minimum of 10 minutes before your scheduled audition time to check in and fill out any necessary paperwork including all known conflicts.

Vocal auditions will take place on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 4:00-9:00pm at the Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center in the Rehearsal Hall.

Please prepare two contrasting 16 bar cuts of contemporary musical theatre songs. Songs from the show are not discouraged.

Please bring sheet music in the correct key for the provided accompanist.

Please bring a current headshot and resume as well as a signed copy of the Application for Minors in Performance form linked below.

All actors must attend the Dance Call on Thursday, January 8, 2026, to be considered for casting unless specifically told not to attend by producer.

The Dance Call for those auditioning will take place on Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 4:00-8:00pm in the Rehearsal Hall.

You must attend the Vocal Audition to be considered for casting.
