Venice Theatre will be holding for Xanadu and for Fall Musical (title TBA) July 23 and July 24, 2022. The Audition will run from 3 p.m. until approximately 6 p.m. on the 23rd and from 5 p.m. until approximately 8 p.m. on the 24th. (Each time slot has space for five.) Expect to be at Venice Theatre for approximately an hour.
Audition requirements:
Contemporary or Contemporary/Comedic Monologue: 90 seconds max.
Sing 16 to 24 bars of a Pop, Rock, or Contemporary Broadway song - 60 seconds max. Have an additional 16-24 bars of a different song to sing if asked.
NO A CAPELLA singing (An accompanist will be provided.) Please bring sheet music.
Come dressed for a dance audition.
All actors must convincingly play no younger than age 18 years old and up.
OPTIONAL Roller skaters: bring roller skates (not inline) and be prepared to roller skate.
