Geneva Light Opera

GLO to hold IN-PERSON auditions Wednesday, March 23, 3-5 pm in Midtown Manhattan for Abduction From the Seraglio covers: Pedrillo, Blondchen, Pasha Selim (Speaking Role) in July 2022 production of Mozart's Abduction From the Seraglio in Geneva, New York.

Music will be sung in German, spoken dialogue in English.

Rehearsals start July 7 and performance are July 21, 23 and 24. All positions are remunerated.

Auditions by appointment only. Singers will present two sung selections, one in German, in addition to some spoken dialogue. A time will be assigned and the location and specific English dialogue for you to read will also be given upon confirmation.

A pianist will be provided.

Current Covid protocols of the venue to be observed, including proof of vaccination/ID and masking except when singing.
