Scera Theatre

The second show of our 2023 summer season at SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre is Rodgers & Hammerstein’s OKLAHOMA, which will play JULY 7-22, 2023 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm. It will be directed by Chase Ramsey, with choreography by Janessa Ramsey. Danielle Berry will serve as stage manager.

All roles are available, and auditions for ages 16 through older adults will be held on Tuesday April 18 or Wednesday April 19 from 7-9pm. Auditioners should prepare 16 bars of a song in the style of or from the show. Sheet music is preferred, and an accompanist will be provided. Please make sure your music is clearly marked and ready to go. An aux cord is also available, please have your music cued. Callbacks, for those invited, will be held Saturday April 22, and will include a dance/movement section. Rehearsals will begin the week of April 24, and generally be held Monday-Friday evenings and some Saturdays. A more detailed schedule will be provided once casting is final.
