The Ruth and Nathan Hale Theater

The Ruth and Nathan Hale Theater is pleased to announce auditions for Fiddler on the Roof! Auditions will be held by video submission only.

Specific details regarding video submission are below. Videos must be received no later than 11:59pm on Monday, August 4, 2025 to be considered for callbacks. All roles are paid- see the audition form for additional details.

FIDDLER –

To be considered for the character of Fiddler, please submit a violin selection in the style of the show that shows your skill level and complete the audition form. No other audition materials are required.

VOCAL SELECTION –

ALL AUDITIONERS: Please film yourself performing a 1-minute song in the style of the show that shows character. Please sing with piano accompaniment or backing tracks.

DANCE COMBINATION –

All those who would like to be considered for SONS, RUSSIANS, and BOTTLE DANCERS: In addition to your vocal selection, please also include a recording of the dance combination found below.

AUDITION FORM –

Please complete the audition form no later than MONDAY, AUGUST 4, 2025 at 11:59 pm to be considered for callbacks. If you are unable to include your headshot & resume as part of your audition form, please email them to auditions@theruth.org.
