The Department of Music at New Mexico State University is seeking an active and highly motivated individual with a strong student-centered dedication to teaching to serve as an instructor of applied voice and director of the lyric theater program.

Duties will include teaching undergraduate applied voice, pedagogy, directing the lyric theater program and class voice. Other responsibilities will include maintaining a strong studio and recruiting on behalf of the NMSU Music Department. The successful candidate may be assigned additional duties dependent upon the applicant’s areas of expertise and the needs of the department.

Masters in Vocal Performance is required. University/College teaching experience is required in both the areas of applied voice and director/coordinator of a lyric theater program.
