2nd Annual Opera on the River Vocal Competition

The Opera on the River Vocal Competition at Trinity Lutheran Church in Stillwater, MN is open to unmanaged singers between the ages of 18 and 34.

Full eligibility criteria can be found below. Modest cash prizes will be awarded to the singers who place first, second, and third, and there will also be a "People's Choice" award selected by the spectators as this event is open to the public with a $10 suggested donation at the door. The winning singers will also have a chance to be presented on stage at the Opera on the River Grand Concert on July 30, 2022.

Details:

Eligibility Requirements: Singers must be between the ages of 18 to 34 (Proof of Age Required). Proof of Minnesota/Wisconsin resident (Driver's License) or a student currently attending a Minnesota/Wisconsin high school, college, or university (Student ID). Singers must be unmanaged. Perform 1 Aria/Art Song in a foreign language and 1 Aria/Art Song/Musical Theatre piece in English. Singers can bring their own pianist or SCVO can provide one for a fee of $25. No backing tracks.
