Description
The Wanda L. Bass School of Music at Oklahoma City University invites applications for the position of Adjunct Instructor of Vocal Coaching. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Applied Vocal Coaching to graduate and undergraduate students studying opera, art song, and music theater repertoire, accompany applied voice lessons, accompany performance classes in music theatre and opera, and serve as music director and/or accompanist for one or two productions per year. Knowledge and experience with opera, art song, and music theatre repertoire preferred.
Qualifications:
Master's degree required, earned doctorate preferred. Significant teaching experience required; collegiate level teaching preferred.
The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching and mentoring students preparing for careers in classical and music theater performance.
