Stella Maris

We are looking for alti, tenors and basses (sorry for the sopranos, the staff is full!).

High level musical work in a serious, caring and relaxed atmosphere, it's a delicate alchemy but it works every year.

A lot of concerts with orchestra and instruments this season, but we still have contemporary a cappella on the program, it's the DNA of Stella Maris:

- Poulenc concert at the Philahrmonie de Paris with Les Siècles / FX Roth

- Prokofiev concerts with ONDIF

- concert tour "les atmosphériques" (contemporary a cappella set in space)

- Brahms concerts with piano

A solid experience of singing and good notions of solfège, accuracy and sight-reading are required. The selection is made on audition by the musical director. Four criteria are evaluated during the auditions: vocalization, intonation, memorization, sight-reading. It is demanding but the conductor is very kind and sympathetic.

Rehearsals on Tuesday evenings from 20h to 22h15 in Paris 4th and a few WE per year, auditions on Tuesday before rehearsals.
