Dallas Opera

The Dallas Opera is seeking the following choristers for the 2022/2023 Season

2 Female Regular Choristers

1 Male Regular Chorister

Male and Female Auxiliary Choristers

Please be advised that all choristers must be local to the DFW area.

When & Where

Auditions will be held May 24, 25, and 26, 2022, starting at 7:30pm at the Karayanis Rehearsal and Production Center in Dallas, Texas.

Audition Requirements

Applicants must have two memorized selections to offer, including one aria or art song in a foreign language; preferably Italian, French, German, or Russian. One of the two selections offered may be in English if you feel it shows your voice to better advantage. You may also be asked to sight-read or perform a rhythm exercise. An accompanist will be provided but will not be available to rehearse with you prior to your audition. We ask you provide legible hard copies of your selections in the correct key for the pianist.
