The Department of Music in the College of the Arts seeks applicants for a non-tenure-track, limited-term faculty position for the 2022-2023 academic year beginning August 1, 2022, and ending May 8, 2023. The position will have the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor based on credentials. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in the candidate’s area of expertise, maintaining scholarly productivity, and participating in service at the department, college, and university levels.

Responsibilities

Primary teaching responsibilities will be maintaining a high-quality studio of undergraduate and graduate applied voice students, voice pedagogy, and diction. The position will also be responsible for student recruitment in the Voice program, maintaining scholarly productivity, and participating in service at the department, college, and university levels.

Required Qualifications

Master in Music;

Terminal degree required for appointment at the assistant professor level.
