Based in Washington, D.C., the Sea Chanters perform for the President, Vice President, and numerous congressional, military and foreign dignitaries. In addition to national tours and concerts in the Washington area, the Sea Chanters can frequently be found at the center of our most important national events, at the White House and U.S. Capitol, as well as at NFL and other professional sporting events.

Applicants must be aged 18 to 39 and otherwise qualified for service in the U.S. Navy. Please note that the Navy has strict requirements with regard to medical readiness and physical appearance. still audition for current vacancies in the U.S. Navy Band, however a tattoo visible in uniform may ultimately prevent you from being offered employment. A waiver granting exception to the policy is possible, but is in no way guaranteed.
