Cedar Falls Community Theatre

CFCT announces Open Auditions for Seussical the Musical by the Tony Award winning team of Flaherty and Ahrens.

Auditions: May 16 and 17 at 6:00pm the Oster Regent Theatre 3rd floor (only need to attend one session.)

Auditions may include cold-readings from the script and some choreography. Singing is required.

Open to ages 12+ with an emphasis on ages 14-24.

Please prepare 32 measures of a song from the Musical Theatre repertoire. Do NOT sing a song from Seussical. Bring an accompaniment track of your song excerpt loaded on your phone. A speaker with a dongle will be provided at auditions. No a-cappella and no singing from lyrics on your phone. There will also be an accompanist if you bring sheet music of a 32 measure excerpt. Singing should demonstrate engaged storytelling performed with proficient pitch, tone, diction and vocal clarity.
