Contract: part-time, Casual Service Contract (12 months, renewable)

Annual Gross Salary: €480/month

Working Time: 25 hours per month, including 10 rehearsals and 1 concert

per month. Additional concerts/rehearsals are paid pro-rata.

Start date: September 1, 2025

Audition: July 21, 2025

As an Ensemble Member, the candidate will:

• Participate in daily rehearsals (may include weekends).

• Perform regularly in concerts as scheduled by the

Artistic Director

• Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure high-quality vocal

blend and ensemble cohesion

• Dedicate time to individual vocal practice and repertoire

preparation

• Engage in KorMalta’s community outreach and public

engagement projects

• Lead and develop projects in their assigned area of focus

• Collaborate with the Artistic Director and administrative team to

align artistic and institutional goals

• Represent KorMalta in relevant events, meetings, or working

groups

• Monitor and report on progress, proposing new ideas and

partnerships

Singers will be evaluated monthly on both their vocal engagement

and their R&D contributions. Flexibility, collaboration, and initiative

are considered essential.

The audition will consist of:

• a self-prepared solo piece

• a choral excerpt drawn from a pre-provided list of four options

• a compulsory choral piece

• ear training and sight-reading tests

• a personal interview

diplomas in singing or choir conducting with relative equivalence in
