Ridgewood Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company

We are currently accepting video auditions for our Fall 2021 production of The Yeomen of the Guard. Our video auditions will include the same audition requirements as our in-person auditions, but allow you to safely complete your audition from the comfort of your home. Please look below for the audition requirements, and fill out the audition form once you have all of your materials ready for submission.

Singing:

All auditioners should submit one full selection in English. Gilbert & Sullivan selections, including ones from The Yeomen of the Guard, are more than welcome! Recent recordings are greatly preferred, and you are allowed to either sing with a digital backing track or work with a live pianist for your recording submission.

?Acting:

For the acting portion of your audition, please pick one of the sides on our website and read for the role of your choice. If you need help finding a side reader, please let us know and we will schedule a time over Zoom to aid you in recording your sides.

For both your singing and acting submissions, please upload your files as unlisted YouTube links. Then, include the link to each in the audition submission fields on website.
