Palace Theatres

The Palace Theatre in Manchester, NH is holding youth auditions for its professional production of Bye Bye Birdie.

Auditions are Sunday, February 6th at 3PM, 4PM, and 5PM. Auditions are for young performers ages 10 to 18. Due to contractual agreements with Professional Actors, it is required that all youth performers be fully vaccinated.

Please bring a headshot and resume if you have one. Expect to stay for your entire one-hour audition slot. You will learn a dance and be asked to sing after. Please come prepared to sing a short section of a musical theatre song. You will be singing a cappella (without music).

YOU MUST SCHEDULE YOUR AUDITION TIME. If not, you may not be seen. To schedule your audition time, please call the Palace Theatre box office at 603-668-5588, or email meganalves@palacetheatre.org (if you are emailing, please list your name, age and preferred audition slot time). At check-in, you will be asked to show proof of vaccination. Masks are required for auditions.

If you are cast, there is a production fee of $75, which will include one complimentary ticket and one show shirt.

Rehearsals begin February 13th, and Bye Bye Birdie performs March 11th-April 3rd at the Palace Theatre. Be prepared to list any conflicts during this time period at your audition.

Auditions will be held at Forever Emma Studios (516 Pine Street, Manchester NH).
