Alhambra Theatre and Dining

The Alhambra Theatre and Dining will hold local vocal auditions for “The Mystery of Edwin Drood” and “Come From Away” on June 2nd, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Florida Ballet. Movement/Dance callbacks will follow from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Video submissions for this production will also be accepted and considered on the audition date. The Alhambra provides professional compensation, round-trip transportation, and excellent accommodations for up to eight visiting artists per production. The Alhambra currently operates as a nonunion theater.

A sign-up sheet will be available starting at 10:00 AM. Auditions will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Prepare two contrasting vocal selections in the style of the show, each no longer than 32 bars. Bring sheet music in your key for the accompanist provided.

For “The Mystery of Edwin Drood,” prepare a one-minute comedic monologue that aligns with the show's style and prepare it with a Standard Southern British Accent.

Men: please bring sneakers or character shoes if asked to stay for the dance/movement call.

Females: Please bring character heels if asked to stay for the dance/movement call.
