Chadron State College seeks Musical Theatre Faculty.
Nature of Work
Full-time faculty in the Communication, Music, Art, and Theatre Department with primary teaching emphasis in theatre, musical theatre, applied vocal music, and related areas as assigned by the Dean. The faculty member participates in the department and the institution’s communities of learners to foster a culture of inquiry, critical self-reflection, evidence-based decision making, and a learner-centered environment.

Required Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Theatre, Musical Theatre, Music Performance (Voice) or related discipline
(NOTE: terminal degree in primary field of study, such as MFA, DMA, Ph.D., required for tenure)
• Experience as a musical theatre practitioner in professional venues
• Experience teaching applied voice lessons
