Landestheater Linz

The Landestheater Linz and the Bruckner Orchester Linz are combined in the OÖ. Theater und Orchester GmbH (TOG). With around 370,000 visitors and more than 800 employees from over 40 nations, the company is the largest cultural institution in the state of Upper Austria.

For our choir we are looking from September 2021 for:

YOU offer us

- excellent vocal quality - lyrical-dramatic subject

- good command of the German language

- good skills in ear training and rhythm

Arias and choral parts to be prepared for the audition:

Soprano:

- Compulsory aria: one Mozart aria (Donna Anna, Contessa, Fiordiligi or similar).

- Other three arias of choice (one of them Puccini or Verismo, Wagner or Verdi)

- Of the compulsory and optional arias, one aria must be sung in German!

- Anton Bruckner - 150th Psalm: p. 14 to end

- Verdi - Macbeth: Coro d'introduzione 3rd act

- Schoenberg - Peace on Earth: P. 3 to P. 12

- Wagner - Der Fliegender Holländer: Chorus from Act 2 from Prestissimo p. 109 to p.115 (Edition Peters)

- Singing Prima Vista

Alto:

- Free choice from the following arias:

- Oh, schöne Jugendtage - Kienzl (Der Evangelimann)

- Re dell'abisso - Verdi (Un ballo in maschera)

- Samson, recherchant ma présence - S.Saens (Samson et Dalila)

- Other three arias of your choice

- Of the compulsory and optional arias, one aria must be sung in German!

- Choral passages

- Verdi - Requiem: chorus no. 7 "Libera me Domine" (bars 179 - 311)

- Bizet - Carmen: Choir No.4 "Dans l'air nous suivons"

- Wagner - Der Fliegender Holländer: Chorus from Act 2 from "Ach! Wo weilt sie" p. 105 to p.115 (Edition Peters)

- Leoncavallo - Pagliacci : Act 1 lines 1 to 6 "Son qua!" (please learn 2nd soprano)

- Sing Prima Vista

The monthly salary is currently according to KV at least € 2,393.56 gross (for full service),

14 times per year.

This must be confirmed by you again - only with this new confirmation on your part is your registration considered fixed. Travel expenses in connection with the application cannot be reimbursed.
