The Candlelight Theatre, located in historic Ardentown, Delaware (30 minutes from Center City, Philadelphia) is accepting pictures (headshot or recent photograph) and resumes for its upcoming production of Into the Woods (music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine). The production will be directed by Peter Reynolds, with choreography by DJ Passman. Seeking non-union, singers, actors, and dancers, of all types, and ethnicity. Rehearsals will start approximately Monday, July 24, 2023 thru September 15, 2023. The production runs September 16 – October 29, 2023. Auditions will be held at The Candlelight Theatre and scheduled on
June 5 – 6:00 – 10:00pm
June 6 – 6:00-10:00pm
Please prepare 16 – 32 bars showing range…preferably something by Sondheim. Auditioners are welcomed to sing from Into the Woods. Readings will be provided.
All roles are open and paid. Performers may also have the opportunity to work in the restaurant during the run of the show to supplement their income.
