Concordia College

Concordia College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in Voice at the Assistant Professor level. We are seeking an exceptional educator-performer. All voices are encouraged to apply, tenor preferred. Minimum Qualifications: Earned doctorate, ABD acceptable.

The successful applicant will demonstrate effective and creative studio teaching skills in a variety of singing styles including but not limited to classical and Contemporary Commercial Music; will display teaching excellence in the classroom setting and within a liberal arts environment; will be committed to mentoring and advising students with skill and compassion; preferably will possess skills in opera theatre direction and production. Studio lessons will comprise a majority of the teaching but additional teaching responsibilities will be assigned based on the candidate’s expertise, interests, and/or department need.
