Hale Centre Theatre is pleased to announce auditions for their upcoming performance of The Unsinkable Molly Brown.

Auditions will be by video submission only and will be done via the link on website. Please have your video ready BEFORE you sign up. All video submissions will be due by 10pm, Wednesday, April 20, 2022. Videos submitted after the 10pm deadline will be not accepted.

This newly updated version of The Unsinkable Molly Brown is a spirited tale of a legendary, real-life American original and follows the exploits of Molly Brown, whose feisty determination to rise above her impoverished beginning and leads her from the backwoods of Hannibal, Missouri, to the palaces of Europe. Along the way, she marries a lucky prospector, enters the highest echelons of Monte Carlo society, survived the sinking of the Titanic and, most importantly, earns the approval that she so desperately seeks from those “Beautiful People of Denver.”

The Unsinkable Molly Brown will be directed & choreographed by Dave Tinney, with music direction by Rob Moffat.

The Unsinkable Molly Brown will run on our Centre Stage from August 29, 2022 through October 29, 2022.

All roles are open to ages 18 and older and we are looking for actors of all ethnicities. For this production we will not be able to offer any AEA contracts.

FOR YOUR VIDEO: Please prepare 32 bars of a song in the style of the show-Golden Age Musical Theatre. Please slate with your name at the beginning of your video.

Call backs will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 and will be by invitation only and will be in person. Reading, additional singing and dancing will be at the call backs. All cast members are paid and pay rates, depending on the role, range from $90 to $135 per performance. Pay rates are posted in the character descriptions, view HERE .
