Colgate University seeks an Artist in Residence, Teacher of Voice.

Artist in Residence Qualifications:

* Significant professional performing experience as a vocalist

* Significant experience teaching voice at the college level

* Master’s degree in music, voice performance or related field

Teacher of Voice Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in voice is required

* Master’s degree in music, voice performance or related field preferred

* Proven experience as a vocal instructor, preferably at the collegiate level or equivalent professional experience.

* Strong vocal proficiency and a demonstrated ability to teach a variety of vocal styles, languages, and genres.

* Ability to effectively communicate and work with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels

* Familiarity with current and evolving vocal pedagogy research and techniques.

* Professional performing experience as a vocalist preferred

Artist in Residence Qualifications:
