New England Theatre Conference

NETC would like to announce that in 2022 we are holding hybrid auditions! Auditions are open to college students and adults, 18 and older, and we anticipate that there will be many casting agents and directors participating in the event, offering summer and year-round employment opportunities for performing actors, musical theater performers, and theatre technicians.

Similar to last year, virtual applicants will complete an application, upload a headshot, resume and audition video. For an additional fee of $25, applicants can have their video(s) critiqued by a theatre professional, receive feedback, and be allowed to upload a new video. Applicants will still have the opportunity to submit both a musical theatre and acting video, $50 for one video, $75 for two. All virtual applicants will receive a one-year membership to NETC and access to our virtual workshop series.

These auditions are open to non-Equity members and Equity Membership Candidates. Equity members are not eligible to apply.

Applicants must be college students or adults, 18 & older. High school students or individuals under 18 are not eligible. In addition to young performers, producers are interested in seeing mature, adult talent with professional experience and/or experience in community or summer theatres, for both seasonal and job-in employment.

The 2022 NETC Theatre Auditions are VIRTUAL and IN-PERSON and the applications are only available online, as of NOVEMBER 1, 2021. We recommend using a laptop or desktop computer to complete the application.

Applications, student verifications and recommendations, payment and videos must be received by January 15, 2022. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that all recommendations and verifications are turned in by that date.
